South Korea’s memory giants will put the artificial-intelligence trade to yet another test this week. Samsung releases earnings on Tuesday. Investors are also getting ready for SK Hynix’s massive US listing days later. Eleven people were killed and 60 injured in a deadly overnight attack in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, on the eve of the NATO summit in Ankara where President Donald Trump is due to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Shares in UK budget carrier EasyJet soared after it agreed in principle to a takeover offer of more than £5 billion from US firm Castlelake. The bid was Castlelake’s fifth, after the two sides sparred over several weeks.
