CAIS CEO Talks New Funding Round, AI’s Fintech Impact
Matt Brown, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of CAIS, discussed the company's recent $170 million Series D funding round led by Vista and supported by Allianz Bernstein, Blue Owl, and Carlyle, which values the alternative asset investment platform at over $2 billion—more than double its previous valuation. Brown highlighted CAIS's 37% organic growth and explained that the new capital will be used to pursue strategic mergers and acquisitions in response to ongoing fintech industry consolidation, enhance AI capabilities to improve the platform's user experience for advisers and asset managers, and provide liquidity to long-term shareholders through an institutional tender offer facilitated by Nasdaq Private Markets.
