Trump says U.S. may keep Iranian oil as Hormuz talks stall
President Donald Trump said the U.S. could continue its campaign against Iran and take control of its oil, comparing it with the Venezuela arrangement he said Washington reached earlier this year. He also said he expects the Iran war to end this year and that gasoline prices would “drop like a rock” once it does. Separately, an Oman meeting on possible agreements over the Strait of Hormuz was postponed, according to Omani foreign minister Badr Albusaidi, who cited the need for “consensus.”
