Synchrony, credit card issuer to Amazon and Walmart, partners with OpenAI for ChatGPT shopping

Maran Nalluswami, Synchrony's chief strategy officer, told CNBC it will probably take six to 12 months to get payments fully integrated into ChatGPT.
